Privacy Policy

This policy explains what personal information PropLab collects, how we use it, and your choices. We follow Canada’s Personal Information Protection and Electronic Documents Act (PIPEDA).

What we collect

• Account data: your email address and a hashed password (we never see your password in plain text).
• Usage data: which sports, tabs, strategies and picks you view, and basic device/browser information, used to improve the product.
• Sportsbook link clicks: if you tap a sportsbook link we may record that a click happened and which pick it came from, so we can attribute affiliate referrals. We do not see what you do on the sportsbook.
• Cookies: a session cookie that keeps you signed in, and a preference cookie/local-storage value for your last-selected sport. We do not use advertising cookies.

What we do not collect

We do not collect payment card numbers (any future billing would be handled by a payment processor such as Stripe), government IDs, precise location, or your sportsbook account details.

How we use it

• To provide and secure the Service and keep you signed in.
• To understand which features are useful and fix problems.
• To send essential account emails (verification, password reset). We will only send marketing email with your separate consent, and every message will include an unsubscribe link (CASL).

Who we share it with

We use trusted processors to run the Service: Supabase (authentication and database), Vercel (hosting and analytics), and data/odds providers who receive no personal information about you. We never sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law.

Retention and security

Account data is kept while your account exists and deleted within 30 days of a deletion request. Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our providers. No system is perfectly secure; contact us immediately if you suspect unauthorised access to your account.

Your rights

You can access, correct or delete your personal information, or withdraw consent, by emailing support@proplab.ca. You may also complain to the Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada.

Children

The Service is for adults of legal wagering age only. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

Changes

We will post any changes here with a new “Last updated” date.
